Without the brain to interpret sensory inputs and the body to translate thoughts into action, knowledge is without state or mode.

Ideas are nothing but the firing of neurons in a 'productive' pattern -- a pattern where action can be translated into the achievement of a goal.

All are valid examples of the translation of electrical impulses into action. The firings burn pathways into my cortex, learning -- learning how to read, to write, to think in my native tongue. Extended learning teaches new languages: human, computer, animal, mathematical.
